Want a mint?
Just when I was getting good at regular posting (regular in the sense of more than one post a year), I kinda got sidetracked by going on holiday and then coming back and having a crap time at work.
Things are getting better though now, and the weather is nice and all that, so I will maybe be back now. It's too hot to do anything much other than talk about the weather. Everyone is too tired from not being able to sleep in this heat. It's cooler today though which makes it more bearable. Hot weather is great if you can sit around all day, but when you have to work, well, it's not so fun. People just aren't used to having a proper summer here, I suppose.
We are trying to keep ourselves motivated by planning our next trip to the States and have decided on a tour round California in March next year. We are going to fly to San Francisco, hire a car and then just cruise to wherever the notion takes us. Can't wait to get going. We might also squeeze in a trip to Cincinnati to see some relatives of mine there just before Christmas, with any luck. Having something to look forwards to like that makes going out every day to work seem more worthwhile.
