I'm gonna have a word with my bitches.

Oh god - this site is addictive.

Why does nothing on here look like any of the crap I have ever had on a plane?

My teeth smell of pain.

I'm a bit late with the felicitations o the season, but happy christmas, etc to y'all.

Crimbo has passed in a blur of gluttony and sloth. The other 5 deadly sins are on holiday. We got so many presents we could stock a shop. We ate a lot of turkey, listened to a lot of Slade and bemoaned the lack of snow - until last nite! We currently have about an inch of snow on the ground, which is exciting me greatly. There was a magical few hours last nite where the air was still and the snow fell softly and we all just stared out the window at it, before, of course, leaping outside and pelting snowballs at each other.

Last nite, Lee and I went to his friend Peter's house and met his new fiancee Claudia. They are a lovely pair and dinner was fabulous. The snow was still falling when we got home, so we had a short frolic in the snow, before going to bed and wishing for more snow in the morning - sadly, my dream of being snowed in failed to materialise, but the sky is looking quite luminous just now, like it might snow again later - fingers crossed.

On a craft tip - we had the second Bastille market on Crimbo Eve which was a bit crud. There was a tiny fraction of people there this time, both sellers and customers and as I predicted it was deathly quiet. We still had a fun day sitting knitting and gossiping though.

Crimbo day Lee and his mum and I all went to Andrew and Aleks' house over on the south side for dinner. Aleks made us traditional Polish dishes, like beetroot soup and pancakes - very tasty. After dinner we all played Buzz on the playstation, which is more addictive than crack. I am kicking Lee's ass at it every game, which makes a nice change seeing as he usually beats me at everything.

Boxing Day, we hung around playing Buzz and eating junk (no fat fighting christmas for us, no siree) and then Lex and Tex came over. Tex's mum was over from the US for Crimbo, so we all had a very pleasant evening chewing the cud and talking about porridge vans.

It has been so nice to just hang around and do not much in particular. I could used to it. Have been at work this week, but finishing early this afternoon. Mum got back from Cincinnati yesterday, so we are all getting together for dinner on the 1st o Jan, Sunday. And then back to work on Tuesday, booooo.

More photos of the SNOW here.

Penguins are birds too.

oh lordy.

shoot me. now.

Work Christmas party last nite and man am I suffering this morning. I promised myself that I would take it easy, just a few glasses of wine with dinner, but ended up doing shots of tequila with my colleagues. And now I wish to be buried at sea.

Seems to have been all sorts of scandalous behaviour of a romantic nature taking place under our noses last nite, but I did not notice it at all. I was too busy telling everyone I loved them and drinking red wine. Oh god.

Was a good nite tho and I only had to dance once!

Bob, I admire your enthusiasm.

wooo, almost finished my last order for Christmas! thank god. can have a rest from the knitting for a while. Was worried I wouldn't get it done in time, but thankfully it all seems to have worked out.

Going for work lunch this arvo and out tonite to see a friend's band, rawk tastic! Tomorrow is Secret Santa day at work, Thursday is work Christmas party and Friday is last dayyyyy before Crimbo!

I think we might have our own personal festive night out on Friday night. And then Saturday we have another craft fair at Bastille and then Sunday we have to eat our own bodyweight in turkey!

I am feeling very Christmassy, as we have been playing Christmas tunes on repeat at work for the last 2 weeks and today we put a little tree up on our desk which is glowing in the corner to help us along.

So exciting!

I've got tennis elbow and I don't even play tennis.

Wow almost a month gone already! Time flies when you are so freakin busy. Rest of Thailand was an absolute ball, had such a fabulous time. I almost feel a bit guilty about enjoying it so much as it was a work trip, but it honestly felt like a holiday! The training went so well and everyone was so nice that it so was not a chore.

On the Friday, I went on the tour of the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha and then on to Wat Po, the Temple of the Reclining Buddha. I had a truly awesome day and was really inspired by everything I saw. I had a personal tour guide called O who looked after me and took lots of photos and taught me how to meditate and make offerings to Buddha, etc. Lots of photos can be seen here.

Friday afternoon I went to a different sort of Thai temple - shopping! Then back to the office, and on to ten pin bowling and karaoke! I was doing a duet with Jamie Blair in Thai, no idea what we were singing, but it was fabulous fun!

Since I came back, we have been very busy with Miso Funky, with the website now finished and up and orders rolling in every day. We are doing very well so far and now have a private investor so we will be able to put a lot of our ideas in motion next year which I am very excited about! Will have to knit 24/7!

We went to a sale at the Bastille Market on Saturday which was very successful and will be back there on Saturday (Christmas Eve). We are just about set for Christmas, Lee and his mum and I are all going to Andrew and Alek's new place in Govanhill for dinner on Christmas day. Looking forwards to a few days off and of course making the most of the time off the diet!
