Almost done with work, just a conference to get thru tomorrow. hurraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah posted by Claire @ 3/07/2006 04:29:00 pm | 0 comments | ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Friday, March 03, 2006That looks a lot like a fishcake.Friday again. It's been a long week. That is usually what I would say on a Friday, but it's inexplicably true this week especially. Time always seems to pass more slowly when you are hotly anticipating something, I guess. The weekend is stretching out in front of me and for once I have NOTHING planned. At least, I don't think I do anyway. I suppose I should really do something worthwhile, save a few otters or something, but in reality, I will probably spend it sitting on the sofa, spending quality time with Sky and the newly-rediscovered Gameboy Advance. It snowed today! But sadly, it's all melted now, booooo. posted by Claire @ 3/03/2006 05:40:00 pm | 2 comments | ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Thursday, March 02, 2006I... really... don't want to die underground.
I have remembered what I want for my birthday, people, so stop searching! No bath salts please. Only 9 days to order, hurry!posted by Claire @ 3/02/2006 07:33:00 pm | 0 comments | ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ I've been reading Camus. He's a kind of soft cheese.Whoop! As Jo says. A girl at work came down earlier and we were discussing the newly reinforced dress code and she casually mentioned that there is a Gap store at an outlet village not a million miles away from Glasgow which sells Old Navy stuff! To say this is exciting news is a mild understatement. An expedition will be required upon my return. posted by Claire @ 3/02/2006 04:57:00 pm | 0 comments | ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ A brontosaurus could kill a stegasaurus... easily.
I've had a wee bit of a spring clean. Renamed some old posts, put a new foty up. Prize for the first person to get where the post names come from!

As lefty says, why, why did I bother with a travel agent? well, because it was a good deal. It still is a good deal, but just they have cheesed me off a bit. I will know next time. they are still dullards, but it is going to be a GREAT holiday. I know it.
Anyway, after an exhausting day of standing around with people I don't really know and talking to people I had no desire to employ, some well-deserved retail therapy was required. The only thing that can save me now is shoes, I thought. But it wasn't to be. It must be a sign from the
Our mould problem in the bedroom continues. I know have some horrible, ugly chesty coldy flu thing brought on no doubt by breathing in the spores that torment me from behind my nightstand. I can smell it and feel the moisture and it is pretty gruesome. We have invested in a dehumidifer to tackle the offending organisms. And then we can paint it again and hopefully we can pretend it never happened. Lee bought some skooshy stuff to The news today is full of the "arctic conditions" sweeping the nation. No, not the Arctic Monkeys for a change - the sub-zero temperatures, several foot deep snow drifts and schools and roads closed. The sun is splitting the sky here like it hasn't done for a long time, there's not a hint of a breeze and it's actually not that cold here in Glasgow. I am gutted. Snow is my most favourite weather ever. I am muy jealous of a workmate's snowboarding trip last week - I saw the photos and wanted to poke him in the eye. Which makes me wonder why we are heading for the sunshine-laden shores of California again and not a snowy mountain somewhere... posted by Claire @ 3/01/2006 02:41:00 pm | 1 comments | ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ |
